Long time no post! Mainly I haven't had time to be bored or depressed! Too much schoolwork and Christmas-time anxiety. Recently, though, I've kind of been obsessed with Storage Wars and Toddler's and Tiara's--seriously, if you just need to chill and hate something or watch some non-melodramatic, funny in a black humor sort of way type of show, there you have it. Or maybe that's just me.
So I probably should be wrapping Christmas presents...or homework--I'm pretty sure I'm either failing English, or getting a good mark, but my teacher just hates my guts. Which infuriates me since I try so hard. ALL. THE. TIME. And then he just hands me back my assignments and tells me its crap. Yeah, whatever. It's not my fault that your style of writing and my previous teacher's style--the one who taught me everything I'm using and who gave me 98%--are polar opposites. This is a recurring problem--he doesn't agree with my style, so I'm passing because I can write but I'm not meeting his expectations--but I've been trying too hard trying to fix the problems to be depressed. Now that it's Christmas and the work load is lighter, I have time to worry about my mark. Dear God.
So, in my attempt to cheer myself up and prepare myself for my conference with him tomorrow:

Just Blah
So I did biology by correspondence, and ended up putting it off until one week before it was due...So I emailed my prof, basically hinting that I didn't know if I would be able to finish in time. He responded, "You're still in the course." When I prodded him about the assignments and quizzes, he never directly answered my questions. I'm very confused. Like, what? Are you giving me false hopes of passing, or do I really have enough time to finish the tests? I need to do, like four after my quizzes (and he's only given me passwords for a couple...) at the place with the proper invigilators...I have two more days, and none of this is arranged. Is it prolonged, or what? Ugh, I don't understand.
So when I'm confused and unhappy...Well...
You know those "How To Fold a T-shirt Really Fast" type videos? I LOVE THEM.
Also on youtube that makes me happy:
Danisnotonfire
AmazingPhil
Charlieissocoollike
Kevjumba
WonFuProductions
And do you know Gangnam Style by Psy? Well I love it. I love everyone from the YG family, (I have a bit of issues with the way Bom talks...kind of like how she finds it necessary to keep her lips close together and....well, it sounds forced. I like her singing, though, and 2NE1...) and Gangnam Style is really catchy. How do teens who aren't familiar with it react to it? I love the teens react (only the teens react, sorry kids and elderly people!) series...=3
AND THIS IS SUPER COOOOOOOL: CLICK. ME. NOW. And yes, those were three separate links.
Bananajamana is also super awesome. SHE MAKES IT LOOK SO EASY CRY CRY SOB SOB.
I also really like this.
I need some fun stuff. Calming, relaxing, non-addicting fun stuff. Something to help me relax, but keep me on track of biology. I'm not finding it. Why are fun things so addicting?
And this is strangely cute, even though it's simple...
(Also, what should I be for Halloween?)

Oh my god, how did I not learn of this sooner?
Ever thought that? Yeah, me too.

http://www.postsecret.com/
...don't you love it when you see something simple, and read it completely differently? Like cuteoverload becoming cuteoverlord. DON'T KNOW HOW I DID THAT. Website I was checking out here.
I really love How To Train Your Dragon--so naturally, I love this. A lot. Yup.
Japanese writing instructor. It's good because it shows you which strokes to do first, and has the English phonetics beside it. Unfortunately, those aren't characters. Most of them are parts that you use to build up a character. I'm bad at explaining. This is what they put: * Note that these marks are not characters, but are used to modify the pronunciation of the character they are written after.
I like this one, too.
VIRTUAL KOREAN KEYBOARD. Oh god, so many hours on this thing. So then how do we work the letters? How do we know what we're saying? LIKE THIS.
So I tried flan pudding today. If you watch anime, you know what I'm talking about. Purin. The yellow thing with a caramel glaze on top that looks absolutely adorable? Or, at least, that's what it said it was. It looked like it, too, and it was mini and super cute and I found it at the Asian Supermarket, so I thought "SCORE." I tried it today. Bleck. Texture: Jello that doesn't melt. Taste: sugar. That's it, it just tasted sweet, and there was way too much vanilla in it. Not even the good vanilla. Super artificial vanilla. Smell: Over-powering vanilla perfume.
That's one of my pet peeves, by the way. Artificial flower scents. I hate them with a passion. If it's done well, whatever, I don't mind it, but I still don't particular love it. I've only encountered a few artificial flower smells I can stand, and those only in small amounts. For any of you who have tried angel food cake, it's that kind of vanilla taste and smell, only ten times stronger...(I don't like angel food cake. It's one of the few foods - CAKES - I don't eat. ) So...maybe it doesn't taste too bad, but for me, it wasn't very good at all. I don't know. I just finished eating some other foods, so maybe it affected the taste? I'm going to try some tomorrow, too...Just to make sure. It came in a package of SIXTEEN, and I don't want to waste it so...I'll try it again tomorrow. orz.
Speaking of flan....http://basilkitchen.com/flan/ I can't verify whether it's really the best recipe like it claims, but it looks and sounds legit. =) I'll give it a try and post whether or not it was good. Maybe I'm just not cut out for flan.
And after a month and a half of procrastination, I finally checked my socials provincial mark. 95% O_O WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE? Socials is, like, my worst subject. And my provincial mark was higher than my in class mark. WHAT. Math is, like, my best subject, and I got 91% on the provincial last year. -somuchconfusion-

Busy-ness
What better way to relax after work than surfing the internet? None!
I came across this while randomly looking up videos of G-Dragon. (Because I love him, he's just so amazing. =]) It's called The Butterfly Dragon and it makes me want to make fanart. It's so beautiful, and I just wish it was some sort of children's book that I could give to children I might meet in the future. Just...Ah, so amazing.
AND SO IS THIS. I don't know what's with me and dragon videos today, but this was really cute. I really liked the wizard and the frog. They were so adorable!
AND THIS. IS. SO. AMAZING. IdeaStation's CF featuring BIGBANG. It's a bit blurry, but the subs are good on this one, so I like it....Wish I had one of these. =/
Ever wanted to learn Japanese? This is just so sweet. =) I like how it starts with one, two, three...Shiawaseeeee. (It's in the video, watch it!)
SMASH JOURNALS ARE JUST SO AMAZING. My friend works at a craft store, and introduced me to it. I WANT THEM ALL. I haven't even started decorated it yet, but just the ideas for it have started making me want to craft. And blog. A lot. Oh my.
PARANORMAN. Is that out yet? I really wanna see it...it just looks so amazing. Like coraline. CORALIIIIINE. <3 I should really get to watching Brave, too. I've wanted to watch it for a long time, now, but I've been too busy to get around to actually watching it.
THE HUNGER GAMES. I'm watching the movie. Like right now. And, um, I feel like I really should've finished reading all the books. Although I admit, I stopped reading because I don't really like Katniss. I like her, but I don't like the...stoicness, I suppose. I also hate her lack of affections. HRRNNNNNG. (shutupIstoppedaafterthefirstbookIdon'tknowwhathappensafter)
...
I've been writing this post over a couple of days. Partly because I'm really behind in biology, and partly because of work, but also because I am boring. Seriously, my life is boring, so my blog is going to be nothing but a bunch of rambling, but just finished watching the Hunger Games. It's so good. =D A lot better than I thought it was going to be. Gale forever. <3 My friends were all over Peeta when they read the book, and I love him, too, but I've always loved Gale. Always.
So I just realized something strange. I grew up watching Cantonese dramas (dramas from Hong Kong), and I've recently discovered that I find it weird to pick a favorite actor/actress/singer even if I know them...I mean, I love all the old actors/actresses/singers, but the new ones? I'm finding it difficult to love them. BUT, when I watch things from Japan, Korea, China (I know Hong Kong belongs to China, but it's different), and/or Taiwan, I choose favorites relatively quickly. Like BIGBANG (and G-Dragon from BIGBANG. <3), from Hana Kimi Yamamoto Yusuke and Mizushima Hiro, Nana Mizuki...Ugh, really, when I watch anything from anywhere--even just reading things online or videos from Youtube--I choose favorites. My favorites change a lot, but I choose favorites. Never have I done that for Hong Kong artists.
I don't know why. (^_^")
Have you ever watched The Fierce Wife? I don't think it's too well known (I learned about it from my parents...Fufufufufu, I'm such an old person. orz) but it's SO GOOD. I love it. My parents have only found it in Mandarin with Chinese subtitles (I don't speak Mandarin T.T) but I've managed to make sense of it with the help of some translation from my parents. The acting is so amazing! <3<3<3
WHEN DOES UTA NO PRINCE-SAMA 2 COME OUT?! IS IT OUT YET?! AND WHEN WILL HEART NO KUNI NO ALICE BE SUBBED AND RELEASED?
-As you can see, I love reverse harems. Even if I think the plot is weak, I fall in love with one character, or the songs, or the idea behind the plot (but not the plot) and I watch it until the end. It's like, my strange addiction. And I've been off it for three months. MUST HAVE REVERSE HAREM.

Jumping Geekery
If you're like me, you like spending money but you're broke most of the time. 'Tis a shame. That is why I love the internet. So many free things being shared--sure, some of them may be illegal things (like downloading music or movies), but I'm talking about things regular people made, and made to be free.
Lots of shopping sites have really awesomely cool things. Not gonna lie. Neatoshop, ThinkGeek, Etsy, and many more are really super cool. But they're expensive. Especially when you've got nothing. That's why you'll only see me post free things most of the time. Because free things make broke teenage girls happy. :3
Ever heard of VlogBrothers? No? Well, Youtube them now! If you're geeky, so much enjoyment. Vlogs between two brothers who talk about nerdy, intellectual and overall funny things. Seriously. They talk about baby Hitler and evil baby orphanages, spreading awesome, and made a musical about Tumblr with the help of AVbyte. I kid you not, click me.
And Community Channel. Oh, Natalie.
I really love Youtube.
But that aside, if you're like me, long story short, you like free things. And you like to make your own things because you won't get them otherwise. You'll also see a lot of craft sites here. Not all of them, but a lot. Say hello to my favourites!
Cut Out and Keep
Ravelry
deviantArt
WolfDreamer OTH
Nanette Crochet
Paper Kawaii
Kat's Creations
AH! Creations
GundamGirlWing's Blog
These are the ones that I'm currently totally obsessed with. They can keep you occupied for days.
Lastly, I leave you with Russian Mario figure skaters and Maru the cat jumping into a box.

So there are a lot of epic things on the interwebs. Especially Youtube.
Seriously, Youtube is like social life online--and what I mean by that is you know when you feel disgustingly tired/depressed/unmotivated/unhappy? And, maybe, you're talking to one of your friends and they go, "Hey look: talking cats" and all of a sudden, you're cured; and BAM! You have a new obsession. Yup, Youtube has lots of people capable of doing this EVERY HOUR. If I may, I might also say that lots of Youtubers are items of obsession themselves.
So I may have been on Youtube today...er, yesterday. And I came upon Vsauce (and Vsauce2); it basically just spews all sorts of nerdy, awesome, and/or weird things. WITH LINKS. It really doesn't get better than that. Without mindless hours of surfing the web, you can just find interesting things because they did it all for you! Things that you may have never even thought about, like Llama Font. That's right. Now you can write in Llama.
And did I mention I am semi-addicted to homestuck? Seriously, Google that. I'm not very far into the whole fandom, but I love it. I should've gotten addicted to it sooner.
Who knew that deviantArt has an entire category for tutorials? Not I. Guess where I'll be the next few days? Shirking my biology homework and finding me some good instructions. (Resources and Stock Images>Tutorials, if you were wondering)
Also, J.K. Rowling release an 800 word short story on James and Sirius?! Since when?! AND IT'S FREE? Or maybe it wasn't supposed to be, but it's online now!
I just want to share what makes my day with the world. =)
PS: Bendaroo Jack Skellington. It's wicked.

Strawberries.
Hi, I'm Lin (not really). I used to blog (poorly) and thought I'd start again because I refuse to give in to tumblr. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I don't want a tumblr. I just want to enjoy other peoples' tumblrs.
So, here I am on blogger. Trying to tumble.
It begins.
