Just a Little Messy

My fridge is a mess. I put all sorts of things in there, and then forget about them and they...well, they aren't things that go bad, they're things that go stale. I remember the things that go bad, but things like Kit Kats, Oreos, Pocky--they all somehow escape my notice. And it's not that they taste bad, just a little...weird? They're not as crunchy as they're supposed to be, and not quite as sweet anymore. They remind me of frozen bananas.

Just something that my Foods and Nutrition teacher taught me in the tenth grade. My household never really has bananas. We like them, but only in small amounts, and we're very slow when it comes to eating a bunch. So we never bought them, why waste them? But my dad went to the doctor's and there was this thing where his doctor had a list of foods that my dad should eat every morning. I can't remember why, it wasn't that important that he did it--and he stopped after, like, a month--but I remember my mom and I being all pro-bananas, yeah! afterwards and we had this horrible time where we were left with overripe, mushy, brown bananas. My Foods teacher suggested I put them in the freezer because the banana peel browns, but the inside is perfectly fine--albeit, mushy, I think she said--and perfect for baking. Well, I never got to it, because we stopped buying such big bunches of bananas, but this is how I feel about the chocolates and biscuits I've left in the fridge. They're not rotten, but they're not perfect anymore either, and no one wants to eat them just as they are. I need some sort of recipe to integrate them into my food. I will not waste.

So how brilliant is this: Kit Kat cheesecake bars? What can't you find on the internet?
For extra marshmallows, extra bananas, extra chocolate,

It's not exactly the season for beanies, but cRAfter Chick has a ton of free beanie patterns! (ohmygod, Finn and Jake hat!)

amiguruMEI has a lot of super cute free patterns, like sleeping Totoros!

I have no idea if this is true or not, but apparently a Canadian quarter with a glow-in-the-dark dinosaur opposite to the Queen has been created. What is this. Where can I get one of these?

(This was a post I made in August, but for some reason instead of clicking "publish" I clicked "save". Whoops, I made a boo-boo.)

New Beginnings

College is so great, you guys. You don't even know. Granted, I am going to a college in a small town, so the largest class I have has about 24 students....but it's so fantastic. I can't even express how much I love business.

For example, in my marketing class, we have to design a product that the citizens of this town would like to have, but cannot find in stores. Therefore, there's a market for it. "Design" is used loosely to indicate something we fabricate. The idea doesn't have to be of our own creation, though. If there's a product in, let's say, France, that you loved using while there, but can't find it in this small town, you can use the idea of that product. But since it can't be found you're going to have to create it. See?

So I decided to do hot chocolate on a stick. It's like, chocolate on the end of a skewer or spoon, and you just mix it in hot water or milk...instant hot chocolate!

The only problem is my partner (also the person who sits beside me, also a fellow highschool graduate who went to the same highschool as me and was actually in a few of my classes...) is a f*cking pain in the ass. The first week of classes was fine, but at the start of the second week, he became such an arrogant jerk--and he's not even better than me in our classes. We're equal, and occasionally I've had to explain things to him, yet he feels the need to express how much better he is than I am. PLUS HE WON'T LISTEN. This is a GROUP project. No, you cannot "I don't care", "it doesn't matter", or "whatever" me. This isn't my first time doing group projects with people like you--smarten up or I WILL SMARTEN YOU UP. Ahem.

...Although, it could be me. Maybe he doesn't realize it? Maybe that's just his personality and I never knew? Maybe he really hates this project? I mean, it's not as if I haven't been a little edgy this week...

But, yeah, it's a brilliant idea I found while perusing the internet! Who knows what other sort of wonders lie out there? Oh, I know! A NEW HARRY POTTER MOVIE.

Perfect segway. I don't even care that it's not about Harry. It's a freaking extension of the HP universe, can I get "I LIIIIIIIIIIVE!"?

On that note, one of my friends--and my "Asian" twin (not really, but who cares, anyway?)--is going to Harry Potter World. What. She's going to surprise me with souvenirs--SQUEEEEEEEEE. <3

All for now,
