Just a Little Messy

My fridge is a mess. I put all sorts of things in there, and then forget about them and they...well, they aren't things that go bad, they're things that go stale. I remember the things that go bad, but things like Kit Kats, Oreos, Pocky--they all somehow escape my notice. And it's not that they taste bad, just a little...weird? They're not as crunchy as they're supposed to be, and not quite as sweet anymore. They remind me of frozen bananas.

Just something that my Foods and Nutrition teacher taught me in the tenth grade. My household never really has bananas. We like them, but only in small amounts, and we're very slow when it comes to eating a bunch. So we never bought them, why waste them? But my dad went to the doctor's and there was this thing where his doctor had a list of foods that my dad should eat every morning. I can't remember why, it wasn't that important that he did it--and he stopped after, like, a month--but I remember my mom and I being all pro-bananas, yeah! afterwards and we had this horrible time where we were left with overripe, mushy, brown bananas. My Foods teacher suggested I put them in the freezer because the banana peel browns, but the inside is perfectly fine--albeit, mushy, I think she said--and perfect for baking. Well, I never got to it, because we stopped buying such big bunches of bananas, but this is how I feel about the chocolates and biscuits I've left in the fridge. They're not rotten, but they're not perfect anymore either, and no one wants to eat them just as they are. I need some sort of recipe to integrate them into my food. I will not waste.

So how brilliant is this: Kit Kat cheesecake bars? What can't you find on the internet?
For extra marshmallows, extra bananas, extra chocolate,

It's not exactly the season for beanies, but cRAfter Chick has a ton of free beanie patterns! (ohmygod, Finn and Jake hat!)

amiguruMEI has a lot of super cute free patterns, like sleeping Totoros!

I have no idea if this is true or not, but apparently a Canadian quarter with a glow-in-the-dark dinosaur opposite to the Queen has been created. What is this. Where can I get one of these?

(This was a post I made in August, but for some reason instead of clicking "publish" I clicked "save". Whoops, I made a boo-boo.)
